Carmen Sandiego: The Secret of the Stolen Drums for the PlayStation 2 is a 3D action-adventure game that follows ACME agent-in-training Cole Gannon as he pursues Carmen Sandiego around the world. Players explore international locations, solve puzzles, overcome environmental obstacles, and battle robots and elemental spirits while searching for eight mysterious drums.
- Worldwide Adventure: Travel to nine locations, including New York City, New Zealand, Bangkok, and Machu Picchu.
- Acrobatic Exploration: Climb ledges, cross tightropes, perform diving rolls, and pole-vault over obstacles.
- Gadgets and Combat: Use ACME equipment and Cole’s staff to disable security devices, fight robots, and open new pathways.
- Educational Elements: Learn geographical and historical facts about the different countries and landmarks visited during the adventure.
With its mix of platforming, combat, puzzles, and educational content, Carmen Sandiego: The Secret of the Stolen Drums offers a more action-oriented take on the classic franchise. It’s a solid choice for younger PS2 players and Carmen Sandiego fans who enjoy globe-spanning adventures with exploration and light learning elements.
