Follow Princess Alicia and the Valkyrie Silmeria, two souls sharing the same body, as they become caught in a growing conflict between mortals and the gods while exploring towns, dungeons, and the world of Midgard.

• Tactical Combat: Use the Advanced Tactical Combination battle system to position your party, manage Attack Points, chain attacks, and target specific parts of enemies.
• Photon Abilities: Fire photons to crystallize enemies and objects, swap positions, reach new areas, and solve environmental puzzles throughout dungeons.
• Einherjar Warriors: Discover and recruit the spirits of fallen warriors to build a versatile party with different weapons, abilities, and combat roles.
• Sealstone System: Find and strategically use Sealstones that alter the rules of dungeons and battles with a variety of beneficial and challenging effects.

Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria combines side-scrolling dungeon exploration with strategic 3D battles, puzzle solving, character development, and an elaborate fantasy storyline. Its distinctive combat mechanics, recruitable Einherjar, beautiful environments, and deep customization systems make it a standout PS2 choice for fans of Japanese role-playing games.
