Suikoden IV 4

Suikoden IV for the PlayStation 2 is a fantasy RPG set roughly 150 years before the original Suikoden, following a young knight who becomes the bearer of the powerful Rune of Punishment. Sail across the Island Nations, build a growing force of allies, and oppose the expansion of the Kooluk Empire.

• 108 Stars of Destiny: Recruit a huge cast of characters who can join your fighting party, crew your headquarters, or provide useful services.
• Naval Battles: Command ships in strategic battles at sea, using Rune Cannons and carefully positioned vessels to defeat enemy fleets.
• Rune of Punishment: Harness the protagonist’s powerful True Rune in battle while uncovering its mysterious history and dangerous nature.
• Ship Headquarters: Build your forces aboard a large headquarters ship that grows into a bustling base as more characters join your cause.

Suikoden IV combines traditional turn-based RPG battles with exploration, character recruitment, one-on-one duels, and large-scale naval warfare. Its island-based setting, huge cast of recruitable characters, customizable party, and seafaring adventure make it a distinctive choice for PS2 players who enjoy story-driven fantasy RPGs.
